How to Transfer Contacts/Phone Numbers from iPhone to Android

With the powerful Galaxy S9/S9+ and Note 9 hit the market, many of Apple users now plan to replace their iPhone with an Android phone. However, switching from iPhone to Android not only means a change of phone's operating system, but also makes the transfer of private data such as Contacts a tricky process. How to go from iPhone to Android without losing the contacts? Don't worry. Here we have some step-by-step solutions for you.

Method 1 - Manual Way

If you want to move a small list of contacts only, you can use the Share Contact option and transfer iPhone contacts to Android via email or text.
  1. Open up the Contacts app on your iPhone and select the contact you wish to move.
  2. Swipe down and tap Share Contact, which allows you to share contact via email or text.

Method 2 - Via iCloud

If you have enabled the iCloud service on your iPhone, your phone contacts have most likely been backed up to your iCloud account. You can transfer contacts from iPhone to Android by using Apple's cloud system.
  1. Go to iCloud.com and sign in with your iCloud account.
  2. Click on Contacts and you will see all of your iPhone contacts which have been backed up in iCloud.
  3. Select the contacts that you want to move. Then click the gear icon and select Export vCard. Your computer will download a VCF file containing the selected contacts.
  4. Copy the VCF to your Android phone's storage and import the contacts from the Contacts or People app.

Method 3 - Use Phone Transfer
